Challenges
Our biggest challenges were rebuilding the subfloor structure, complying with commercial building requirements and managing build time lines in an expanding project. As the project timeline went on, there were various hurdles which we had to navigate. Certain subcontractors could not work over the top of each other, which required careful planning to make sure the job continued smoothly
The Solution
We were invested in building a beautiful project on time. Through careful management we were able to design a tight project schedule that gave us the best workflow possible given the challenges faced.
The subfloor structure work was demanding, however our crew were committed to doing the hard yards to ensure this house was still standing in another 120 years
I engaged the team at Fortified Construction to do a major renovation on my place and change its usage from residential to commercial. It was not a straight forward build and conversion as council laws had changed, there was a historical overlay that needed to be addressed and to top it off covid. The end product however is great. What’s good about Fortified Construction is that they are willing to engage with all concerned parties and bring experience and youth
