You may have heard of the PieFee which got international recognition in 2018, serving hot beverages out of a sweet pie base. All made and sold out of the Tasteful Bakehouse on Karangahape Road in Auckland's CBD. We were asked to give it a full renovation, emptying out the shop, we pulled up the old lino, polished all the concrete floors, and with a new paint job, re wiring and fresh new cabinetry, the shop looked completely new. With just 4 days to finish the job over Easter weekend, it was all hands on deck Architect: Bernau Architecture Cabinetry: Fabulous Kitchens Electrical: Pinnacle electrical

The Rangitoto job was a kitchen renovation job designed by Bespoke Interior Design who did an incredible job of designing a modern, sleek looking kitchen that provided the family with an open, user-friendly kitchen. We started with a mostly original single storey villa on a sloping section. The existing villa was put on temporary piles and the entire footprint was excavated to accommodate a separate two bedroom dwelling with additional storage. A 1.5 car garage and an additional parking space was added to the street frontage. The downstairs dwelling was built with a 2.7m stud height and the exterior cladding and joinery was blended seamlessly with the existing dwelling to give the impression it always existed. The floor plan of the existing villa was changed to be more functional and a full renovation was carried out with period styling to create a stunning and functional home for the owners.
Complete renovation and extension of a 1920's era bungalow. The key here was to keep some of the original charm of the house while bringing the home up to modern standards. The floor layout was changed to make the most of the North West aspect, the interior completely stripped to allow insulation and building paper to be installed. The back of the house was extended and the entire house was re-piled and re-roofed. The existing rimu floors were carried through the extension and re-surfaced. Extensive re-cladding was also required and remaining exterior surfaces were stripped back to bare timber before a full exterior paint was carried out. The old timber joinery has been repaired to 'as new' quality.
The Riversdale road units had extensive renovation work inside and out, all 5 units have new flooring, insulation, kitchens, bathrooms and roofing. These units transformed into modern, comfortable living spaces. Each with great amounts of natural light in every room of the house.

Adopting a multi-level area for entertainment and usability at the same time allowing greenery to overflow into the space. This incredible outdoor space was designed by Guy Herschell Architects.
